Wisconsin Right to Life: Responds to President Biden’s announcement to step down
Today President Biden announced he is withdrawing from the Presidential race and has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
In response, Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life stated, “While we do not know who the Democratic Presidential nominee will be, we know the anti-life record of Vice President Kamala Harris. She has visited Wisconsin multiple times to promote unfettered abortion access, which takes the lives of innocent children and harms the women and girls of Wisconsin. Even among the other potential Democratic Presidential nominees, not even one has a record of protecting preborn life.”
Gracie Skogman, Legislative and PAC Director of Wisconsin Right to Life, continued, “Vice President Kamala Harris is the antithesis of empowerment for women, and a presidency with her would be disastrous for preborn children. She is proud of her record of prosecuting pregnancy resources centers and has made it her mission to ensure abortion access on demand throughout pregnancy. The fact of the matter is that every single possible Democratic nominee supports abortion up until the moment of birth. At the end of the day, Wisconsin Right to Life opposes any candidate that protects the interests of the abortion industry over the safety of women and unborn children.”
