The Dem-aligned WinSenate has a new TV ad that calls GOP U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde a California banker who has a plan that “helps him and hurts you.”
The narrator in the spot says Hovde proposed $4 trillion in new tax cuts “for rich people like him” and “we pay” for them with a 28% cut to Social Security and a 25% cut to Medicare. The narrator says Hovde would raise the retirement age before playing a clip of Hovde saying that.
“Eric Hovde, still helping himself and hurting you,” the narrator says to close the ad.
