UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus Theatre Unveils New Season as Bayshore Arts Center 

Marinette, WI — Community theatre and arts are vibrant in the Real North. UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus unveils the 2024-2025 season, featuring the announcement of a new name for the venue: Bayshore Arts Center (BAC). “This new identity reflects how we have evolved as an artistic venue,” said Lauryn Albaugh, director for the Bayshore Arts Center. “Bayshore Arts Center is home to Theatre on the Bay, Children’s Theatre, West Shore Chorale and the Fine Arts Gallery.”  The university’s 2024-2025 Season at Bayshore Arts Center will feature plays and musicals produced by Children’s Theatre and Theatre on the Bay, as well as productions in partnership with Coastal Players. The season will also feature a Concert Series and Short Play Festival in 2025.  UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus is bringing new performances to the Center, such as Frank’s Tribute and the All-Star’s Band, presented in partnership with Let Me Be Frank Productions of Green Bay. Audiences will also enjoy West Shore Chorale concerts and year-round exhibits in the Fine Arts Gallery. Artistic Producing Director, Brittany Welch Pilz, has been involved at the theatre for over a decade. Reflecting on her involvement she says, “This season has the largest variety of productions and events that I’ve seen in over 10 years. It’s a very exciting time to be involved at the Bayshore Arts Center! The 2024-2025 season truly holds something for everyone.” Tickets, starting as low as $16.50, for the 2024-2025 season go on sale Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Star. Information regarding productions, events and  programs can be found online on the Bayshore Arts Center websiteand Facebook page. Williams Theatre. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Arts Management and working in venues in Green Bay and Chicago, Lauryn has recently returned home to serve her hometown community by bringing a variety of theatrical, musical and artistic opportunities to the surrounding area.
