Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes and unified partners attended Signing Day on June 11, announcing Year Three of the Unified Soccer Series’ Forward Madison Football Club Unified Team.
This year’s Unified Flamingos represent local programs from West Madison, Sun Prairie, Columbus, Oregon, Silver Lake, Neenah, Green Bay, and Milwaukee and Unified Champion Schools of Columbus, McFarland, and UW-Madison.
The home-and-home series with archrival Union Omaha and Special Olympics Nebraska will kick off Thursday, June 20 at Breese Stevens Field in Madison. Tickets for the home matchup available here. The series will head to Omaha Saturday, August 3.
