- The frantic energy. @karencassssss does “stressed mom in August” so well.
- The exasperated “Well, I don’t know what you want!” Felt this in our GUT.
- The sunglasses on top of the head. I was informed by my middle school students years ago that this is a “very Millennial thing to do.”
- Questioning trends. “Who wants a bug as a magnet?” “Is this something naughty?” Moms know that if they marvel and appreciate all the current trends, they’re doing it wrong.
- The half-baked assumption that Cadence would have brought her school supply list. Of course she didn’t!
