Republican Voters Against Trump has launched a $2.2 million ad campaign across Madison and Milwaukee media markets.
The campaign features a 30-second digital ad and testimonials from former Trump voters from around the U.S. who are now supporting Kamala Harris. One testimonial features Ethan, a resident from Portage who voted for Trump in 2016.
“Trump’s not an option,” Ethan said in his testimonial. “I’ll never vote for him again.”
The campaign also features 20 billboards in Wisconsin with pictures of local voters and the message: “I’m a former Trump voter. I’m voting for Harris.” Twelve of the billboards are in the Milwaukee area and eight are in the Madison area.
This campaign is part of a broader $11.5 million swing state campaign throughout the month of September, RVAT’s largest ad campaign yet this cycle.
