Republican State Senator Rob Stafsholt responsible for delinquent tax warrant, totaling nearly $80k – WisPolitics

MADISON, Wis – In June of 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue filed a delinquent tax warrant against State Senator Rob Stafsholt, totaling $78,424.06, for failing to pay income tax.

Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein commented:

“It’s disappointing that a sitting Wisconsin State Senator would refuse to pay tens of thousands of dollars of personal income taxes while everyday Wisconsinites struggle to afford healthcare, childcare, and housing. If Senator Stafsholt can’t handle his own responsibilities as a citizen, like paying his taxes on time, how can voters have the confidence in him to handle theirs?”
