Rejects the radical policy agenda of “Blue Wall” progressive governors – WisPolitics

Midwest, USA – Today, the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, and Pennsylvania state directors for Americans for Prosperity (AFP) issued a joint statement rejecting the radical, progressive agenda of Governors Walz, Evers, Whitmer, Pritzker, and Shapiro and the harm it has caused middle-class families as they tour through the Midwest and Rust Belt states.

AFP State Directors Megan Novak (WI), Jake Coleman (MN), Tim Golding (MI), Jason Heffley (IL), and Emily Greene (PA), issued the following statement:

“Rather than take accountability for their failures back home, Governors Walz, Evers, Whitmer, Pritzker, and Shapiro are instead stumping nationally for the far-left progressive agenda that has already failed those throughout the Midwest and Rust Belt and will only leave the rest of America worse off.

“Don’t fall for the rhetoric. The policies these governors are advocating for are the exact same policies that have skyrocketed costs on virtually everything Americans buy. The fact is, these governors are in lock-step with the Biden-Harris agenda and their support for Sen. Baldwin (WI), Sen. Casey (PA), and Rep. Slotkin (MI) speaks volumes.

“As these lawmakers attempt to make their case to Americans, AFP will continue to highlight the failures of this administration and its allies. Americans simply cannot afford any more of the big government spending and burdensome regulations crippling our industries and destroying our jobs. It’s time for real change.”
