New billboards call out Trump’s Project 2025 tax scam that would cost Wisconsin families thousands of dollars every year – WisPolitics

Hey all – As Trump travels to Wisconsin today, Democrats are ensuring Wisconsin voters know that Trump’s new tax scam would cost them. New billboards around La Crosse will greet Trump and spotlight his Project 2025 agenda to raise taxes on working and middle-class families by $3,900 in order to finance tax giveaways for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations. A reminder: A new study by the Wharton School shows that Donald Trump’s economic plans would raise the deficit by more than $4 trillion in the next ten years, while the Center for American Progress shows that these plans would increase taxes on working and middle-class families by $3,900. Trump’s priorities have always been clear: scam the middle class while giving his billionaire friends and donors tax handouts. 

DNC Spokesperson Addy Toevs released the following statement:

“Donald Trump’s tax scam was a disaster for working Wisconsinites. As president, he gave handouts to his wealthy friends at the expense of middle-class families. If he reaches the White House again, he’ll double down on those policies and force the average family to pay thousands more in taxes. Donald Trump is a white-collar crook and Wisconsinites know he won’t hesitate to take money out of their wallets to put in the pockets of billionaires. His economic policies would not only increase the deficit by over $4 trillion in ten years, they threaten to raise costs on hardworking families. This November, Wisconsinites will reject Trump’s tax scam and vote for Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s plan to strengthen and expand the middle class while bringing down costs.”
