The National Republican Senatorial Committee and U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde have launched a new joint ad that knocks Kamala Harris and Dem U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin on immigration and Social Security.
Such spots have to have a joint message about the party as well as a candidate.
The narrator in the spot says Harris “opened our borders and supported amnesty for illegal immigrants, making them eligible for Social Security and Medicare.” The narrator says that will bankrupt the programs before turning to Baldwin, saying she “supports making illegals eligible for free benefits and voted for higher taxes on Social Security. Now she’s lying about Eric Hovde again. The truth? Eric Hovde will always protect Social Security.”
The spot comes after Baldwin has hit Hovde on his past comments in favor of raising the retirement age for Social Security.
