Today, 43 additional Wisconsin Democratic elected officials, including Senate Democratic Leader Sen. Dianne Hesselbein and Assembly Democratic Leader Rep. Greta Neubauer, have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for President – building on the groundswell of endorsements Vice President Harris received from Wisconsin leaders when she announced her campaign, including Governor Tony Evers, Senator Tammy Baldwin, Representatives Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan, Wisconsin Democratic Mayors, and labor unions across the state.
“As state legislators, we know what it takes to stand up for Wisconsinites–and Vice President Harris will be our champion in the Oval Office,” said Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein. “She’ll fight for our reproductive freedoms, our democracy, and for a future where everyone gets ahead, not just the wealthy. We’re proud to endorse her for President.”
“This election is an existential choice between Donald Trump, whose Project 2025 wants to take us backwards, and Kamala Harris, who is running to lead us into the future,” said Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer. “A former District Attorney and Attorney General, Vice President Kamala Harris will effectively prosecute the case against Trump and share her forward-looking vision for Wisconsin.”
Just last week, the first rally of Vice President Harris’ campaign took place in Milwaukee with a crowd of more than 3,500 supporters. The first week of the campaign saw more than 3,500 new volunteers across Wisconsin sign up to help the campaign, along with $200 million in fundraising nationwide driven by grassroots donors.
