Harris campaign: Bon Iver to campaign with Harris ticket in hometown Eau Claire

Eau Claire-founded band to continue legacy uplifting their hometown as they campaign in support of Harris for President during this week’s battleground state tour

On Wednesday, Bon Iver will join Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate in Eau Claire – where the band was founded – on the Battleground State Tour for a special performance. The Grammy Award-winning band will celebrate that Vice President Harris has delivered for Wisconsin.

Bon Iver consistently uplifts their hometown: they debut new music at the Eaux Claires Music Festival and regularly invest in and uplift the local economy. The band also regularly does Get Out The Vote events in Wisconsin. In 2022, they participated in a non-partisan effort For Wisconsin to encourage people to bridge their differences and engage in the political process––and over the past month alone they have used their platform to uplift multiple pro-democracy and civil right organizations.

Vice President Harris has prioritized showing up and delivering for Wisconsin voters. Her first campaign rally after announcing her candidacy for president was in Milwaukee. This will be her 10th stop to the state since being sworn in and her 6th this year alone. As Vice President, she has helped oversee the creation of over 191,000 Wisconsin jobs since taking office and capped drug costs for nearly 900,000 Wisconsin seniors and others on Medicare and capped the price of insulin at $35 for seniors. She and President Biden also oversaw the fastest rate of union growth in Wisconsin in over 30 years as the most pro-union administration in history.
