Fix Washington PAC knocks Balwin over not disclosing assets co-owned with her partner – WisPolitics

Fix Washington PAC has launched a new TV ad that knocks U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin for not disclosing assets jointly owned with her partner.

The spot says Baldwin’s partner Maria Brisbane is a “Wall Street wealth adviser to the ultra rich.” The narrator says the two spent time in their New York and DC homes, but Baldwin “fails” to report their jointly owned assets or Brisbane’s clients who “get rich off industries that Tammy regulates,” calling it a conflict of interest.

The narrator concludes the spot, “Two-face Tammy Baldwin. She’s not for us anymore.” 

Baldwin’s financial disclosure statement lists the home they jointly own. They aren’t married, and Senate ethics rules only require members and candidates to disclose assets co-owned with spouses.
