Dept. of Justice: Tomorrow: AG Kaul attends Office of School Safety Behavioral and Threat Assessment Management Training in Appleton, Wis.
WHAT: Attorney General Josh Kaul will hold a news conference to talk about the importance of the Office of School Safety on Tuesday, August 6th. It will take place alongside one of the Behavioral and Threat Assessment Management trainings that are taking place around the state of Wisconsin this summer.
These trainings are designed to provide school administrators, school mental health professionals, security personnel, community partners and law enforcement with an understanding of why threat assessment is an important part of violence prevention in schools.
Attorney General Kaul will address the training participants at 11:00 am then hold a press conference immediately following. Media are invited to attend the address to participants as well as the press conference.
