As congressional lawmakers try to force a vote this week on a bipartisan bill that guarantees the right to IVF, here’s a reminder that Bryan Steil has refused to sign on to this legislation and threatened IVF access.
Steil’s Republican Study Committee introduced a budget that would effectively end IVF and ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
Instead of supporting a bipartisan bill that *actually* protects IVF nationwide, Steil is trying to mislead Wisconsinites by signing onto a “useless” and “disingenuous” resolution that does absolutely nothing to protect fertility treatments.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Wisconsin women don’t want politicians like Bryan Steil deciding if, how, and when they should start a family. He can try to cover up his anti-choice, anti-woman extremism, but Wisconsinites know Steil is hellbent on ripping away their reproductive freedom.”
