Dane County Exec. Kuhn: Signs 2025 budget investing in families

Budget focuses on Housing, Access to Services, Conservation, and Infrastructure

MADISON – Today, Dane County Executive Jamie Kuhn signed the 2025 Dane County Budget alongside members of the Dane County Board. A thorough public engagement process and accelerated timeline allowed budget passage earlier than previous years. Historic investments in service delivery and housing were the focus of this budget.

“This budget prioritizes community needs by identifying and funding gaps in services while ensuring we are good stewards of taxpayer dollars,” said County Executive Kuhn. “I thank the County Board of Supervisors, especially Chair Miles, for their diligent work in passing a budget that will support Dane County families.”

County Board Chair Patrick Miles joined County Executive Kuhn today as the budget was signed. “I appreciate the collaboration with the County Executive as the Board considered the Budget and moved it forward toward completion,” said Chair Miles (District 34). “This budget is a reflection of the values and priorities we all have to serve the Dane County community.”
