Wisconsin State Patrol to welcome community members at open house events throughout the state – WisPolitics
The Wisconsin State Patrol invites families, community members and anyone interested in a career in law enforcement to stop in and visit a local State Patrol facility at open house events happening throughout the state over the next two months.
Visitors can meet troopers, inspectors and dispatchers who serve in each region of the state. Staff will provide demonstrations of the State Patrol’s specialty equipment and vehicles.
Local public safety partners from law enforcement, fire and emergency services will be in attendance with equipment and interactive displays. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association and Wisconsin Towing Association will also be available to provide safety information. Safety partner availability and displays vary by location.

The open house events are scheduled in each region of the state and will take place at local State Patrol facilities from 3-7 p.m. on the following dates:

Open house visitors are encouraged to learn more about the statewide job opportunities available right now and the potential for advancement to specialty services in a career with the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The State Patrol, the safety and enforcement division of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, will begin recruiting officers for the 71st Recruit Class (traditional program) and the 72nd Recruit Class (lateral program) on October 20, 2024.
