MADISON — The Eric Hovde for Senate campaign released a video highlighting Sen. Baldwin’s massive potential conflict of interest with her partner, Maria Brisbane, who advises the uber wealthy in industries that Sen. Baldwin regulates.
The voiceover reads, “Tammy Baldwin is a US Senator from Wisconsin. Her partner, Maria Brisbane, is a Wall Street financial advisor to the uber-wealthy and private equity. They live together. Tammy regulates the biotech industry. Maria advises clients in the biotech industry. If they were married, they would have to disclose their financial conflicts. But they aren’t married, so they can share inside information to get rich. It’s time to investigate Senator Tammy Baldwin. She’s in bed with Wall Street.”
