MADISON, Wis. — In response to the Wisconsin Elections Commission’s unanimous vote to adopt guidance regarding the use of safe and secure absentee ballot drop boxes, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund issued the following statement:
“Fueled by Donald Trump’s lies about 2020, Republican politicians have fought for years to make it harder to vote—but try as they might, democracy has prevailed. Today’s bipartisan guidance from the Elections Commission is an important step in ensuring voters in communities across Wisconsin—cities big and small, in red areas and blue areas—are able to exercise their right to vote in a way that works for them.”
