Elect Principled Veterans Fund ad calls Roth ‘tough as nails’
The Elect Principled Veterans Fund is up with a new TV ad in the 8th CD that says Republican Roger Roth is “tough as nails.”
The spot started today with $64,620 on broadcast TV in the Green Bay-Appleton market and another $10,495 on cable through Tuesday.
The narrator in the ad says Roth, a former GOP state lawmaker, is a veteran, home builder and “conservative fighter” who was born in Wisconsin and “stands with us.” The narrator adds Roth, of Appleton, is a captain in the Wisconsin Air National Guard and “fought for us in the Middle East to protect our values.” In Congress, the narrator adds, Roth will “build the wall, demolish Bidenomics and put veterans first.”
The spot concludes, “Home builder, warrior, conservative, Capt. Roger Roth. Tough as nails. Ready for Congress.”
Roth is in a three-way GOP primary Aug. 13 with businessman Tony Wied and state Sen. Andre Jacque. They’re running both in a special election to fill the remainder of Republican Mike Gallagher’s term after he resigned and for a full two-year term that starts in January.
