Samsung Galaxy S26 series gets AirDrop support in Quick Share

Back in November 2025, Google introduced the ability to share files with Apple devices via Quick Share on the Pixel 10 series. Four months later, the newly announced Galaxy S26 lineup now supports the feature as well.
At the time, Google had confirmed that AirDrop and Quick Share interoperability would roll out to older Pixel devices and other Android phones. The feature arrived on the Pixel 9 series last month, and is now expanding to the Galaxy S26 lineup.
In a press release, Samsung confirmed that AirDrop support via Quick Share is available on the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
To use the feature, simply head to the Settings app, navigate to Connected devices, tap on Quick Share, and enable the “Share with Apple devices” toggle. Once enabled, you can seamlessly share files with Apple devices and receive files from them as well.
AirDrop support in Quick Share will be available on other Android smartphones as well, but we don’t have a proper timeline. Notably, Oppo recently confirmed that its latest Find X9 series will be getting the feature soon.
