Our first look at Diablo 4’s Warlock and the game’s next season arrive in today’s livestream – watch it here

Diablo 4’s next, long-awaited Developer Update finally airs today. This meaty livestream was first announced nearly a month ago, when Blizzard initially revealed that the game’s next class is the Warlock.
The Warlock’s initial unveiling, however, was incredibly brief, showing no gameplay. It also didn’t explain how the class is going to fit within the existing roster. This all changes today.
Blizzard is bringing back its Developer Update livestream programme, which is the more structured, information-dense series of developer showcases. The focus of this one, of course, is going to mainly be on the Warlock class.
The Warlock is one of two classes coming to Diablo 4 with the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion. The first, the Paladin, is already available in the game for anyone who pre-orders the expansion. The Warlock will instead arrive alongside the expansion on April 28.
The Developer Update will also include a first look at the game’s next season (Season 12), currently set for March 10. This mini season will only last until the expansion’s release, so it’s going to be interesting to see what it brings to the game.
You’ll be able to watch the showcase live at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm GMT on Diablo 4’s official YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter channels. We’ve embedded the YouTube and Twitch players below for your convenience.
Among the topics the Developer Update will cover are the Killstreaks system, as well as Bloodstained items. As always, you can also expect a Q&A segment at the end of the show, and I imagine there’s going to be a few about the Warlock.
