Bellagio Las Vegas Named Best in the World • This Week in Gambling

I’ve been visiting the Bellagio Las Vegas for years now. I also knew the original owner of the “gambling.com” website. And while the famous hotel can accommodate more people than the actual Lake Como in northern Italy… and while Graham was quite possibly the nicest person I’ve ever met… I never thought I would be writing a news article about both at the same time!

Despite being over 20 years old, Bellagio in Las Vegas was recently named the world’s best casino by Gambling.com. Known for its elegance and world-class gaming offerings, the Bellagio remains a favorite among visitors, cementing its place as a timeless destination in the entertainment capital of the world.

In the same ranking, another Vegas resort was also on their list… and not too far behind Bellagio, as the Wynn Resort claimed fifth place. Opened in 2005, the combined resort boasts nearly 5,000 hotel rooms and183,000 square feet of gaming space with over 1,800 slot machines, 135 gaming tables, an expansive sportsbook, and what some may argue is the best poker room in Sin City. All making it a prime choice for casino enthusiasts.

It may be surprising to learn that Bellagio Las Vegas even beat out the renown Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco. That resort actually earned the second place spot on the list. Established in 1865, the casino is housed in a stunning building. And while it has become one of Monaco’s most famous landmarks, locals are prohibited from gambling there, adding to its mystique.

The Venetian also made the top ten list, but not the one on Vegas. The Venetian Macau took third place on the list, as the property features the largest gaming floor in the world. with over 800 gaming tables. The resort recreates the charm of Venice, complete with canals and gondolas, offering a unique and immersive experience for visitors.

Also worth mentioning is the casino that took the number six spot on the list: London’s Hippodrome Casino. Situated near Leicester Square, this historic venue reopened as a casino in 2012 after undergoing extensive renovations. The Hippodrome blends its rich history with modern gaming, offering a diverse experience for both locals and tourists.

These renowned casinos continue to shape the global landscape of gaming, attracting millions of visitors who seek both luxury and excitement. And the best part is most Americans don’t have to travel very far to see Bellagio Las Vegas, and what the folks at Gambling.com think is the best casino in the world!
