Happy 2025! Welcome to my first official blog post of the new year today I am sharing my favorite beauty discoveries of 2024. It is a good mix of makeup, skincare, and hair products and they have all made a big difference in my beauty routine last year and have become staples in my routine. MY ABSOLUTE BEST BEAUTY DISCOVERIES OF 2024

SKINCARE
As someone who has extremely sensitive skin, I have to be super careful with what products I apply to my skin. When I find something that works, I stick to it and very rarely experiment with something new. I did, however, manage to discover a few skincare products that have made an absolute difference in my skin every time I use them.
CLARINS CRYO MASK
I am not much of a masking person aside from eye patches and the occasional sheet mask, but this stuff is the GOAT. I use it before an event to prep my skin as well as after for recovery. It does everything from plumping, hydrating, lifting, and tightening. YOU NEED THIS!!!!
TULA EYE BALM
I refuse to get on an airplane without this stuff. I use it every day as a primer before applying concealer and for a quick pick-me-up throughout the day. It is like an espresso shot for your under-yes. The gold version is my favorite.
HYDRATING BODY WASH
I have snsitive skin al over my body snd tend to get an itchy rash if i don’t hydrate my skin enough. This has been a godsend. Frangrance free, cheap and ultra hydrating it has made a worl of difference in my skin.
MCRONEEDLING SYSTEM
I switched from my derma roller to this and have never looked back. This is my new favorite skincare treatment andnhas made the most significant difference for my over 40 sensitive skin. It comes with a 3-month supply and 6 treatments. I can’t recommend this enough.
VITAMIN C SERUM
This is my holy grail Vitamin C serum. I love the delivery system, and it works wonders for my skin. I was looking for a replacement for my old seru,m and this fit the bill! Everything about it is perfect, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
GLASS SKIN FACE CREAM
Another discovery that has made the absolute best difference in my skin. It is thick and hydrating in the best way and also makes a great face mask to achieve that hydrated, glass skin look. A must-have for dry & sensitive skin.
MAKEUP
There were a just a coiple of discoveries in the makeup category this year, but they were GOOD! Finally I discovered a good SPF lip balm and a blush bronzer hybrid that is amazing for dry, sensitive & mature skin.
SPF LIP GLOSS
I struggled to find an SPF lip product for years that was hydrating, pretty, and didn’t have a funky taste. This is it! It comes in 3 beautiful colors and is a summer staple for me now! Not sure why it took so long, but they nailed it with this one.
KAJAL EYELINER
This is the unicorn of eyeliners. It goes on like a dream, blends easily, and then sets in place and does not smudge, smear, or migrate. It is fantastic. I love the colors Bronze and Navy Noir, and of course, black.
SUN BLUSH
This is the perfect blush/bronzer hybrid, especially for dry & mature skin. It can be easily applied with fingers or a brush and is perfect for an easy-peasy summer makeup routine. Sunlit is my favorite color!
EYE COCOON
This stuff is stupidly expensive but worth its weight in gold! It is a skincare/makeup hybrid. I left my last one on a plane home from Paris and cried actual tears. It is the GOAT for mature under eyes. It hydrates and illuminates like nothing else and also works on redness and dry patches on the face like a magic eraser.
HEALTHY NAIL SYSTEM
Words can not describe how much I love this nail system and what a difference it has made in my nails. It is SO easy to use and the polish lasts a long time. The hydrating serum alone is worth the price of the entire set!
SELF TANNING MOUSSE
The perfect tan in a bottle. This self-tanning mousse will give you a glowing, gorgeous, and streak-free color in 2 hours. It is super easy to apply ( always use a mitt) and smells good. Doesn’t leave skin sticky and is a fairly clean product. Check marks all the way around!
HAIR PRODUCTS
I wrote an entire blog post on all of the things I did to improve the health of my hair and you can read that here. These 3 products are new to me this year and have made a big difference in how my hair feels and how it looks.
JOLIE SHOWER HEAD
If you do only ONE thing for your hair and skin this year, let it be this! Don’t be fooled by other shower heads, THIS will purify your shower water and help with several issues such as dry itchy skin, and unhappy hair. You will notice a difference after one use. It is a bit of an investment up front, but the showerhead replacement is only $40 every 3 months. Worth it, IMO!
MIELLE HAIR OIL
A great addition to my hair care routine and an inexpensive way to be kind and gentle to your already existing hair. I apply this to my scalp and ends for at least an hour before washing my hair and make sure to massage my scalp to stimulate growth and I am on my 5th bottle of this.
L’ANGE HAIR STRAIGHTENER
I love this tool because it straightens as well as curls your hair and has a cooling fan setting that sets your hairstyle and also prevents hair damage. It is the only tool I have found that glides easily through my hair and creates that effortless beach-wavy look I prefer. It is also very affordable and comes in a shorter and a longer version for different hair lengths. The only tool I travel with.
