The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is gearing up for the first of its 2023 weekends from April 14-16. Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean are headlining the festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. You can also catch high-profile sets from the likes of Rosalía, Jai Paul, Gorillaz, Boygenius, Charli XCX, Björk, and Kali Uchis, among others. Blink-182 were a surprise addition to the lineup, and after initially being set for Sunday, Jai Paul has switched to Saturday. Scroll down to check out the full weekend schedule.
As ever, desert-goers will have some potential clashes to navigate. On Friday afternoon, Overmono, Pusha T, Muna, and Magdalena Bay all kick off within half an hour of one another. That evening, you’ll have to pick between Burna Boy, Yves Tumor, and Blink-182, and make an early exit if you want to catch Kaytranada.
The Saturday clash that may divide your friendship group is Jai Paul (7:40 at the Mojave stage) vs. Boygenius (8:10 at the Outdoor Theater). Alternatively, save some energy for the sprint. To do so, you might have to find a relaxed solution to the day’s earlier conflict: Rosalía and Yaeji both begin at 7 p.m., while Remi Wolf, Sofi Tukker, and the Breeders all start between 6:25 and 6:40.
On Sunday, there are sets from Kali Uchis, Alex G, Rae Sremmurd, and 2manydjs starting between 5:40 and 6 p.m., with Christine and the Queens playing at 6:25.
