USA were all smiles as they trained on Sunday ahead of the World Cup opener against Wales on Monday (21st November).
Tyler Adams will captain the side, having been announced earlier in the day by coach Gregg Berhalter, but insists that he is just one of a leadership including former captain Christian Pulisic.
USA missed out on the 2018 World Cup and will be one of the host nations of the tournament in 2026 – extra motivation, if needed, for this young squad to prove their worth on the highest stage.
After their match with Wales, they will face England and then Iran in their other Group B games.
